During the Covid-19 pandemic, we worked with Indeed, Inc. to analyze its existing office planning standards, and to propose alternative frameworks for future office designs based on the shifting landscape of office health and safety as well as remote work.
The design considers a variety of “employee archetypes” based on a range of in-office versus remote working habits to create spaces that can flexibly operate across a broad range of team sizes and schedules. Community floors provide highly programmed nodes, including reception desks, cafes, kitchens, and gyms, which anchor surrounding flexible work and lounge zones, while work floors offer an array of reconfigurable “team pods” that create defined spaces for teams to utilize on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
