West Village Wellness #1

This design for a health and wellness facility in the West Village combines the functional requirements of medical office and exam space with the tranquil and calming aspects of a spa. Visitors are treated to a concierge level experience that reinvigorates traditional notions of a medical facility with a richness and refinement that ultimately enhances its wellness mission. The design revolves around a central volume clad in walnut panels that houses exam rooms, operating rooms, pre- and post-op spaces, reception, storage, and seating. A large green wall provides a natural foil to the central volume and offers a point of reference for wayfinding throughout the space.
